"At first I was interested in Jewels’ Treasure Hunt because I like to purchase books as gifts. I have a 2 year old granddaughter, and this book & doll combination seemed perfect for her. But then, I also like to purchase meaningful books to add to the collection at my Preschool. Even further, I would be heading to 2 small orphanages in Haiti soon, and like to take worthwhile investments for their English-learning experience. I was drawn to the cover because of the treasure adventure idea. But knowing that the author was Christian gave me more incentive. Raising my own four children, I used the scripture reference of Prov 22:6 to “train up a child according to their individual gift or talent.” So what is that “priceless and precious treasure within” each child, but to use “for the glory of God.” I immediately bought 4 copies, and since have thought of 3 more gifts I wish to give.
